Well, 2024 was quite the year for many of us, and here we are starting up 2025 with our OPS Unified Bargaining, OPS Corrections Bargaining and Sandgate Bargaining ramping up!
We have a solid team of mobilizers who may contact you to get your feedback and help you feel more involved.
OPS Unified peeps please feel free to connect with Alex Miller or Chris McConnell for additional resources or to ask questions on bargaining, especially if you are one of our Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) members! They are a wealth of knowledge in general but definitely know and understand the unique perspective from being employed with MECP.

Sandgate! You also have an amazing group of mobilizers with Kelly Norbert, Ruby Taylor and Jeff Tynes. They all knows about the intricacies and nuances of being a part of the Broader Public Services (BPS) Sector 5 – Community Agencies. Kelly, Ruby and Jeff are the region 3 mobilizers for the “Worth Fighting For” Campaign. Please connect with them for additional support.
NEW for 2025 – Drop-in Sessions!
Connect with your President and Local Executives at our new bi-weekly drop-in sessions. Although they are scheduled every two weeks on Thursday evenings from 7 pm to 8 pm we are asking that you pre-register so we can accommodate any special requests or private breakout rooms. Good news, it only takes one registration for the link to be opened. Drop in to ask questions about anything from personal situations, to bargaining and sector updates, what it looks like to be a steward, how to write a grievance, work with management or just to catch up on what’s happening around our lovely Local 310!
First session is February 6, 2025 @ 7 pm and will continue every two weeks from there. pre-register today.
Spring 2025 GMM
We are doing things differently this year, as we have already elected our Convention 2025 Delegates, Alternates, and Observers, we are planning on hosting our GMM after Convention this year, so we can update everyone on all the resolutions that get passed and all the things that Convention 2025 will be, you can even REGISTER NOW for the Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 7 pm.
